Their attention to detail, kindness and professionalism made the whole planning process not only seamless and simple but such good fun, too! Their standards are impeccable and nothing was too much to ask. Upper House, the most beautiful venue in the Peak District, will always have a special place in our hearts.

Thank you so much to the whole team at Upper House, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we first looked round, to the very end of the night on our wedding day, Georgia and the team made us feel like royalty. Everything felt so personal to us, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff moved floral arrangements, ferried guests to and fro and made sure the whole day ran perfectly, without us even realising. I have lost count of how many guests came up to us to say "Wow, what a venue!" Thanks for making our special day spectacular. Sahra and Ian.

Our Daughter’s Wedding Day, held at Upper House in Hayfield on 25/2/23 was absolutely magical! Hence, we felt it really important to leave a Review, as we would love for other couples, to know the magic of Upper House and experience such a perfectly beautiful Wedding Day. Firstly, our sincere thanks, gratitude and love, must go to our Hostess: Georgia and her colleague Karen! Having Georgia as our trusted, reliable friendly Hostess, was like having our very own Professional Wedding Planner! Georgia was quietly in control of everything and ensured that the day went like clockwork! No worries, concerns or hitches; with Georgia at the helm, we were all able to confidently sit back, relax and fully enjoy our Daughter Helena and David’s perfect Day! Set in glorious surroundings, Upper House is simply magical! Warm, welcoming and inviting; the scene was set! Stunning rooms, absolutely delicious food and wines! Wonderful live music during the Wedding Ceremony and during the Wedding Breakfast! An amazing MC who ensured everything went smoothly and our fabulous DJ who made the evening so special. We had three wonderful, experienced Florists attend the Wedding and they said, they had never seen such exquisite floral decorations; rightly so! The Great Hall was absolutely magical! Breathtakingly beautiful! Wish we could do it all again! Thank you Georgia! You are amazing! You are Upper House! Our sincere thanks, from Tricia, Bryan, Helena and David.

One of the best spent weekend ever. The estate is amazing and with character. The surroundings are breathtaking, the place is amazing. All you can think of is there. Main problem is the managing team. The aftertaste was really bad. They asked us to leave exactly 10am. Ok. No problems. As asked we were all ready with all of our belongings in the car. But the lady who was supposed to come to the check us out at exactly 10am didn't turn up. Trying to call, no answer. We waited in the cars with our kids. She came 10.30am. Next day we received an email with pictures from one of kitchens, that we didn't clean about 10(!)plates and they needed to bring special cleaning team for a deep clean(!!) And they never(!) have seen a such mess left after! And they sent us picture from one kitchen with a sink full of plates(about 10). Asked for £330 from deposit. We explained that the dish washer didn't work there and the worst case scenario it can take about 10mon to wash it and 5min to take the rubbish. They still asked for £330 Other kitchens (3) were good and no complaints (as dish washer worked there). We needed solicitor to take a look at this "drama' case. After they a sent letter from them they backed off and returned deposit taking £40 to clean the plates("deep clean") They are fishing. Not nice and left bad taste after. Very bad taste indeed.

What a weekend! We just spent our anniversary at Upper House. The place was spotless with beautiful home comforts. The staff really went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure our anniversary was perfect. Our third time staying at the house. We will be back!

Quite simply the best 'cottage" accommodation you could ever get. Wonderful location amidst spectacular Peak District scenery. Georgia is the absolute perfect host. Thanks for making my wife's birthday celebrations so perfect

What a stunning place! I've never seen anywhere like it. We went to our friends wedding here and I had the pleasure of doing the wedding flowers for them. The ladies who run it are helpful, friendly and can't do enough to help. The actual venue is so bespoke, and has been restored to the highest standard. This is just a true, hidden gem. It is perfect for a weekend get away with friends and family and is just the most amazing venue for a wedding. Can't recommend this place high enough.
